Privacy Policy

loopd. does not require an account. The app does not include advertising or use your activity to build an advertising profile.

Videos saved in loopd., along with names, categories, and current-loop state, are stored in the app's local storage on your device. loopd. does not use its backend as a personal video library.

To prepare supported public video links, loopd. sends the URL to its resolver service so it can locate a temporary playable media source. The resulting video is then saved locally on your device. loopd. does not intentionally store those links as a user profile or use them for advertising.

The hosting and resolver infrastructure used to deliver the service may temporarily process technical request information, such as an IP address and request metadata, for routing, security, reliability, and abuse prevention. Third-party video platforms and hosting providers may also process requests under their own privacy policies.

Photos access is used only when you choose a video from your library or when loopd. saves a Live Photo for Lock Screen setup. Choosing a video does not upload your Photos library to loopd.'s backend.

App-local videos and library data remain on your device until you remove them or uninstall loopd. Live Photos or videos that you export to Photos remain in Photos until you delete them there.

You can remove saved videos from loopd. at any time and can change Photos permissions in iPhone Settings.
